Question 1

How do I get started with a Degird product?

Accepted Answer

Every product has a Getting Started guide in our documentation. Select your product and follow the setup walkthrough.

Question 2

Are Degird products free?

Accepted Answer

It depends on the product. Browser extensions like TabFold and DeepCycle are available through the Chrome Web Store. Desktop applications like Tubeup are one-time purchases — Tubeup starts at $24.50 for the Solo (1 device) licence with coupon BFCM50, with 3-device and unlimited-device plans available. SaaS product pricing varies.

Question 3

Which platforms are supported?

Accepted Answer

Tubeup: Windows and macOS. Browser Extensions: Chrome (and Chromium-based browsers). SaaS Products: Web-based. WordPress Plugins: WordPress 5.0+ compatible.

Question 4

Does Degird collect my data?

Accepted Answer

Degird products are privacy-first by design. Desktop applications process everything locally. SaaS products store only necessary data. Browser extensions do not collect personal browsing data.

Question 5

Where is my data stored?

Accepted Answer

Desktop apps: on your machine. Self-hosted products like Pulse: on your server. Cloud SaaS products: on secure infrastructure with data sovereignty options.

Question 6

What is Degird's pricing model?

Accepted Answer

We use the pricing model that makes sense for each product. Desktop apps are one-time purchases. SaaS products use affordable subscriptions. We avoid per-seat enterprise pricing where unnecessary.

Question 7

How is Tubeup licensed?

Accepted Answer

Tubeup sells three lifetime licences that differ only by device count: Solo ($49, 1 device), Multiple ($99, 3 devices), and Team ($149, unlimited devices). Coupon BFCM50 takes 50% off every plan. All features — unlimited uploads, unlimited channels, AI metadata, and future updates — are included in every tier.

Question 8

Can I move a licence to a different computer?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Deactivate the licence on the old machine and activate it on the new one. Replacing hardware never costs you a seat, and you can upgrade to a larger device tier later by paying the difference.

Question 9

Do you offer refunds?

Accepted Answer

If a product doesn't work as described, contact us. We'll make it right.

Question 10

I'm having a technical issue. What do I do?

Accepted Answer

1. Check the product's documentation for troubleshooting guides. 2. Search our blog for known solutions. 3. If the issue persists, contact our support team with details.

Question 11

How fast do you respond?

Accepted Answer

We typically respond within 10 minutes to 1 hour — we always try to get back to you ASAP. During off days, it may take up to 24 hours.
