Degird's mobile apps are open source and local-first: they connect your Android phone to the devices around it over your own network, with no accounts and nothing routed through a server.

ZooCall

Calls and Chat Over Local Wi-Fi. No Internet Needed.

ZooCall lets people on the same Wi-Fi network — or one phone's hotspot — call, video call, and message each other with no internet, no accounts, and no servers. Think of it as a secure intercom and phone for an office, a school, a warehouse, a clinic, or a film set.

Android phones and Windows or macOS computers share one Kotlin codebase, so a phone can call a PC as easily as another phone. Android-to-Android and Android-to-Windows calls, chat, voice notes, and files have been verified on real devices; group calls, push-to-talk, and screen sharing are in device testing. There's no public release yet — the source and roadmap are on GitHub.

SoundPush

Your Phone and PC, One Audio System.

Open Source

The SoundPush Android app turns your phone into the audio gear your computer is missing: a speaker for its sound, a microphone for your calls, or a wireless headset that does both.

Pair it with the SoundPush desktop app by scanning a QR code, then stream over Wi-Fi, a hotspot, or USB. On Android 10 and newer you can also send your phone's app audio to a computer or another phone. A Quick Settings tile and notification controls let you start and stop without opening the app.
