Post a new product on a Facebook Page and watch what happens over the next hour. “Price?” “Size ache?” “Delivery koto Chittagong e?” Then the inbox lights up with the same three questions, worded slightly differently, from people who didn't scroll down to read the comments.

Every one of those people is close to buying. And every one of them has a feed full of other sellers offering something similar. If the answer arrives four hours later, a fair number have already ordered somewhere else, and nobody tells you. The sale just doesn't happen.

The frustrating part is that the answers already exist. They're in your price list, your delivery chart, your returns policy. Somebody still has to type them out, one comment at a time, usually in the evening after the packing is done. That's the job we wanted to take off people's hands with Replyzoo.

What Replyzoo is

Replyzoo is a Chrome extension that runs AI agents inside your own browser. Each agent is given one job, like "answer my Page's Messenger inbox" or "reply to comments on my Page posts", and it does that job using information you've written down about your business. A small web app at replyzoo.cc handles your account and subscription. Everything else, the reading of Facebook, the writing of replies, the posting, happens in Chrome on your computer.

Where it can reply

Most auto-reply tools for Facebook connect through Meta's official API. That works for Pages, but plenty of selling happens in Groups, on personal profiles and in personal Messenger, where the API doesn't reach. It stopped covering Groups in 2024.

Replyzoo works through the normal Facebook website instead, the same pages you'd click through yourself. So the list of places an agent can work is longer than usual:

  • Page messages, through the Meta Business Suite inbox
  • Comments on your Page posts, also through Business Suite
  • Comments in a Group linked to your Page
  • Comments on your posts in other Groups, found through your notifications (Group admins can also have an agent watch recent posts by members)
  • Comments on your personal profile posts
  • Your personal Messenger chats on facebook.com/messages, end-to-end-encrypted ones included

You can run a separate agent for each, and each keeps its own schedule, AI, knowledge and limits.

Teaching it your business

An agent is only as useful as what it knows. In Replyzoo that lives in the Context Library: entries for your products, prices, delivery charges, policies, FAQs and contact details, grouped into collections. A spreadsheet catalogue can be imported from CSV or JSON. Entries such as your brand profile or your return policy can be marked to go into every single answer, so the agent never forgets them.

Before you let anything near a customer, there's a panel called Try it. Paste in a real question someone asked you last week, pick the AI and the collections, and run it. Replyzoo shows you what it would do (reply, hold, ask you, or skip) and which entries it leaned on. Nothing gets posted, and gaps in your Library show up fast.

The part we were most careful about

A bot that answers instantly but quotes the wrong price is worse than one that doesn't answer at all. A customer who's been told ৳1,200 when the real price is ৳1,450 is not a happy customer, and now you have an argument instead of a sale.

So every reply Replyzoo writes goes through a grounding check before it can be posted. The draft is compared with your information and with the conversation itself. If it contains a number of two digits or more, or a link, that doesn't appear in either, the reply is blocked. The check also stops replies that mention being an AI, repeat something the agent said recently, or ramble on too long. A blocked reply is never posted on its own.

What happens instead is up to you, agent by agent. It can send a short holding message letting the customer know someone will get back to them. It can put the draft in front of you for review. Or it can simply skip the message. You can also tell an agent to answer only questions rather than every message, and list words, "refund" or "complaint" for example, that always leave a conversation for a human.

Every new agent starts in dry run. It reads real messages and writes real replies into the Activity tab, but posts nothing until you switch dry run off. If you'd rather approve every reply forever, set the agent to "I approve each reply" and each draft waits for you to edit, send or skip.

Bangla, English and the mix in between

Plenty of customers in Bangladesh write in Banglish: Bangla words in Latin letters, with English mixed in wherever it's quicker. A reply in stiff formal English feels wrong there, and so does a reply in Bangla script to someone who wrote in English.

By default a Replyzoo agent answers in whatever the customer used, Banglish included. If your brand always speaks English, or always Bangla, you can fix the language per agent. You can also give each agent a persona and instructions in your own words, so it sounds like your shop rather than a call centre.

One practical note: Facebook itself needs to be set to English. Replyzoo needs the English interface to find its way around the page.

Behaving like a careful person

Our design rule was that an agent should act like a careful, slightly slow human, not like a script. In practice that means one Facebook action at a time across all your agents. Replies are typed in human-sized chunks, and there's a random gap of 45 to 120 seconds between them. By default no more than 30 replies go out in an hour and 200 in a day, and those can't be raised past 60 and 500. Any single person gets at most three replies a day. You can set working hours, including overnight ranges, so agents only reply when you'd plausibly be awake.

It also stays out of the way. Agents skip threads that you or your team already answered, never reply to your own Pages or profile (so two of your agents can't end up chatting with each other), and keep a record of every item so nothing gets answered twice, even if you delete an agent and make a new one. If a send gets interrupted, the agent checks the page before trying again. Agents work in their own Chrome window, so your tabs are left alone.

And if Facebook pushes back with a checkpoint, a login wall, a CAPTCHA or a "temporarily blocked" message, every agent pauses straight away and you get a desktop notification. Only you can resume them. There's a Pause all button, and Alt+Shift+P does the same from anywhere in Chrome.

We want to be plain about this. Facebook's terms restrict automated activity, and automation of any kind can lead Facebook to limit an account. Replyzoo's pacing and limits are there to reduce that risk, but they can't remove it. Replyzoo is an independent Degird product and isn't affiliated with or approved by Meta.

Bring the AI you already use

Replyzoo doesn't sell AI. You connect a provider and pay them directly. Our recommended one is Revoye, our own AI service. You can also use your own Anthropic Claude API key, or any OpenAI-compatible API, which covers OpenAI, OpenRouter, Groq, DeepSeek, Gemini and a local Ollama server.

If you already pay for ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Qwen, DeepSeek or Perplexity and you're signed in to it in Chrome, an agent can use that session. And you can set a backup provider, so when the main one is signed out, over its quota or simply down, replies keep going.

Your conversations stay on your computer

Facebook messages, comments, names and your AI keys are stored in your browser, not on our servers. Your Replyzoo account holds your email address, your plan, your monthly reply counts, the browsers you sign in from and security logs, and a backup of your agents and Library only if you switch that on. When an agent writes a reply, the conversation, the customer's name and the matching Library entries go from your browser to the AI provider you picked, and to any lookup or webhook you've set up yourself.

By default, message text is kept for seven days and reply records for 180, and you can change both. From Settings you can export your setup or reply history, or erase everything. Backing up your agents and Library to your account is available, but it's off until you turn it on, and it never includes Facebook data or keys. The diagnostic log keeps ids and error codes, not message text.

The trade-off is that your computer has to be on. Agents reply while Chrome is open, the machine is awake and you're signed in to Facebook. Nothing runs on our servers on your behalf. If you need replies at 3 a.m. with the laptop closed, Replyzoo isn't built for that. If your agents briefly lose contact with replyzoo.cc, though, they keep running for up to 72 hours.

Who it's for

The clearest fit is a small shop selling through a Facebook Page, and that is exactly what the Free plan covers. It also suits Group admins who answer the same member questions every week, creators and coaches fielding fee and booking questions in their DMs, and anyone who does real business from a personal profile.

It's probably not the right fit if your customer conversations happen mostly on your own website. If that's you, Cliedesk, our AI help desk for WordPress and WooCommerce, is a better place to start.

Free and Pro

There's no trial, because the Free plan does that job. Free runs one agent on your Page inbox or your Page comments, with 100 replies a month, 50 Library entries and one connected browser. That's enough to judge the replies on real customers.

Pro is for when one agent isn't enough. It allows up to 10 agents and 3,000 replies a month, 1,000 Library entries and a second browser. It opens up Groups, profile comments and personal Messenger. It also adds data connectors: live lookups that call your own endpoint for things like stock or order status while the agent writes, catalog sync that pulls a CSV or JSON catalog in every few hours, and signed webhooks to your system when a reply is sent, escalated or fails.

Every AI provider, all three languages and every safety control are in both plans. Payments go through Freemius, and there's a full refund within 14 days of the first payment of a subscription. Current Pro pricing is on the Replyzoo pricing page.

Getting started

Create a free account at replyzoo.cc and verify your email, add the extension to Chrome (version 120 or newer, on a desktop), open its side panel and sign in. Then fill in your Library, try a few real questions, and build your first agent in the six-step wizard. Opening your Page in the current tab lets the wizard fill in the target for you.

Leave it in dry run for a day and read what it writes. When the drafts read like something you'd have sent, switch it live. There's more detail on every feature on the Replyzoo product page, and if you get stuck, our team is at support@replyzoo.cc.
