Managing Multiple YouTube Channels

Why channels are isolated

Anyone running more than one channel has had the same bad afternoon: a video published to the wrong channel because the browser was still signed into a different account. Tubeup avoids that by treating a channel as a container rather than a setting. When you switch channels you switch the whole working context — the playlists you can assign, the branding applied, and the queue of videos waiting to go out.

That isolation is the point. A batch prepared for your main channel stays attached to that channel, and selecting a different channel shows you a different queue rather than the same queue pointed somewhere new.

Playlists belong to the channel they came from. When you assign a playlist to a video, you are choosing from that channel's playlists, and you can create a new one during the batch rather than setting it up in YouTube Studio first. For a channel that publishes in series — a course, a season, a recurring segment — creating the playlist on the fly and assigning the whole batch to it in one bulk action is usually the fastest path.

Working across a multi-channel week

The practical workflow for several channels is to keep the batches separate on disk and process them one channel at a time. Fill your base folder with one channel's videos, select that channel, generate metadata, review, upload, and let Tubeup move the finished files out of the intake folder before you stage the next channel's batch. Because published files are moved automatically, the folder is clean and ready for the next set without any manual tidying.

Scheduling works per video, so a single session can lay out a week or a month of releases across every channel you manage. Combined with a batch upload run, that turns multi-channel publishing from a daily chore into one sitting.

Keeping track of performance

Real-time channel analytics are available inside the app, so you can compare views and growth trends across the channels you manage without opening a browser tab for each one.
